Driver Door Trim

Removing

-

Switch off ignition.

CAUTION!
‹› To prevent damage, the upper part of the handle molding - 1  - must never be removed out of the door trim upward!

‹› To prevent additional damage, tape the front of the Pry Lever (80 - 200) with suitable tape.

Slide the front end of the Pry Lever (80 - 200 ) under the upper part of the handle molding - 1 -. Carefully push the handle molding upward and out
of its retainer -  arrow A -.

Slide the front end of the Pry Lever (80 - 200 ) under the lower part of the handle molding. - Arrow B -. Carefully push the handle molding
upward and out of its retainer.

-

Remove the upper part of the handle molding out of the door trim. 

-

Depending on vehicle equipment, disconnect wiring harnesses from upper section of grip shell.

-

Remove two screws - 1 - (4.5 Nm) in area handle molding area.

-

Pry cover cap - 3 - out of handle recess.

-

Remove bolt - 2 - (0.8 Nm).
