Removing

-

Switch off ignition.

Vehicles with Automatic Transmission

-

Loosen boot from cover.

Vehicles with Manual Transmission and Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG)

-

Loosen boot from cover.

All Vehicles

-

Remove parking brake lever trim.

-

Remove compartment - 1 - upward.

-

Remove the four bolts - 2 - (1.5 Nm).

-

Remove Convertible Top Operation Switch (E137 ) - 3 - and remove connector.

-

Remove bolt - 4 - (1.5 Nm).

-

Remove lining mat - 5 - from cupholder.

-

Remove the two bolts - 6 - (1.5 Nm).

-

Thread extension - 7 - out through opening from parking brake handle.
