‹› When the luggage compartment trim is installed, make sure the support is not positioned in the opening on the longitudinal member.

‹› To support roof, both sides of luggage compartment trim should be either removed or installed.

‹› The bypass screw on the hydraulic pump must be opened after the repair position has been reached on vehicle from May 07. This prevents

damaging the hydraulic system.

‹› Tensioned headliner is installed.

Open the roof with the convertible top switch until it is just before the position shown.

Place (VAS 6365) in lowest position -  2 -.

Place the (VAS 6365) in the mounting hole in the main hinge - 1 - and rotate the base - 4 - so that it is not positioned in the opening in the
longitudinal.

Switch the ignition off. The roof lowers in stages until the supports are resting on the longitudinal member.

‹› All screws are microencapsulated and must always be replaced.

‹› Bolt tightening specification 3.5 Nm
