Brake Lamp: Service and Repair
High-Mount Brake Light M25, Removing And Installing
NOTE: If damaged, the entire High-mount Brake Light M25 must be replaced.
Removing:

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical components and remove ignition key.
CAUTION: Do not operate brake pedal.

Remove rear lid trim.

Disengage connector -2- and disconnect it.

Remove bolts - arrows B -.
-
Push catches of right or left side - arrows A - inward and remove high-mount brake light from rear lid.
Installing:
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
NOTE:

Slide the groove located on High-mount Brake Light M25 into guide in rear lid.

When installing gasket, check for proper fitting.
Tightening torque of brake light to rear lid 2.5 Nm.
