Transmission oil, checking 02Q, 6 Speed M/T

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Torque wrench V.A.G 1331

^

Triple square socket driver 3357

-

Remove noise insulation.

-

Remove sealing plug for gear oil inspection - arrow -.

The oil level is correct when transmission is filled up to lower edge of filler hole.
-

Install bolt - arrow - with new sealing ring.

-

Tighten bolt - arrow - to tightening torque.

When filling again, note the following: 

-

Remove bolt - arrow -.

-

Top off oil to lower edge of filler hole.

-

Install bolt - arrow - with new sealing ring.

-

Tighten bolt - arrow - to tightening torque.

-

Install noise insulation.
