Windshield: Removal and Replacement

‹› A repair to the cloth cover is not possible. In this case the wind deflector should be replaced.

Removing

-

Remove the felt strips and drill out both rivets - arrows  - with a 2.5 mm spiral drill.

-

Remove the rivet heads with a 4.5 mm spiral drill.

Remove the mount - 1 - from the profile bracket -  2 - - arrow -.

-

Remove the protruding rivet shafts - 3 - and -  4 - with a diagonal cutter.

-

Counterbore the remaining material with a drift.

Installing

-

Position the spring - 1 - in the mount -  2 -.
