Windshield Washer Pump: Service and Repair
Windshield Washer Pump
‹› Depending on equipment, the component location of the Windshield Washer Pump (V5) may deviate slightly from the illustrations. Removal is
identical.
Removing:
-
Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

Remove front bumper cover.
‹› In order to prevent interchanging washer fluid line connections at windshield washer pump, connections at pump and hose lines are color-coded.
The hose connectors must be connected to the corresponding colored pump connections during installation.

To release, twist the securing clips at hose connections - 3 - and - 5 - and disconnect them from windshield washer pump - 4 -.
-
If necessary, collect the draining fluid in a suitable container.

Remove windshield washer pump - 4 - upward out of tank.

Disconnect electrical connection - 2 -.
Installing:
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Tighten all threaded connections to specified torques. Refer to => [ Windshield Wiper/Washer System, Tightening Specifications ] See:
