Rear Lid

Rear Lid Lock

‹› If rear lid does not open, it can be opened by hand using the emergency release. 

‹› The emergency release is behind the pass-through cover. Refer to => [ Rear Lid Emergency Release ]. See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk /

Liftgate/Service and Repair/Rear Lid/Rear Lid Emergency Release

Removing

-

Remove rear lid trim.

-

Remove anti-theft cover - 1 - from lid lock -  2 -.

-

Disconnect electrical harness connector - 4 - from lid lock - 2 -.

-

Remove hex nuts - 3 - and remove lid lock -  2 - from rear lid.

Installation

-

Install lid lock - 2 - on to rear lid and install hex nut - 3 -.
