Service Position, Setting

‹› Minor changes to service position must be kept in mind, depending on engine version.

Remove front bumper cover, refer to => [ Front Bumper Cover ] See: Bumper/Front Bumper/Front Bumper Cover / Fascia/Service and
Repair/Front Bumper Cover Overview.

On vehicles with a 6-cylinder fuel injection engine and HID headlamps, remove the headlamps.

Remove the noise insulation. Refer to => [ Noise Insulation ] See: Sound Proofing / Insulation/Service and Repair

In vehicles with charge air cooler, disconnect pressure hoses. Refer to => [ Pressure Hoses, Releasing ].

Release, disconnecting. Refer to => [ Release Coupling ] See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Hood/Service and Repair/Hood

Remove screws - 3 - and disconnect air duct from lock carrier.
