Vacuum Pump: Service and Repair

Vacuum Pump

Removing

-

Remove the engine cover. Refer to => [ Engine Cover ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Cylinder Head Assembly/Service and
Repair/Engine Cover.

-

Remove the air filter housing. Refer to => [ Air Filter Housing ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance
Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair/Air Filter Housing.

Remove the high pressure pump. Refer to => [ High Pressure Pump ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel
Pump/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/High Pressure Pump.

Disconnect the ground (GND) wire - 3 - and remove the bolt - 4 -.

-

Remove the vacuum hose - 1 - from the vacuum pump.

-

Remove the bolts - arrows - and remove the vacuum pump.
