Connection for the Fuel Line from the Fuel Tank

Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve (N276)

High Pressure Pump

‹› With the fuel pressure regulator valve.

‹› Make sure dirt does not enter the fuel system when installing the high pressure pump.

‹› The fuel system must be pressureless to install the high pressure pump, releasing the fuel pressure, refer to => [ Safety Precautions ] See:

Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Service Precautions/Safety Precautions/Fuel Supply.

‹› Install the fuel line to the fuel rail free of tension.

Roller Tappet

‹› Remains inserted in the cylinder head after removing the high pressure pump, removable.

High Pressure Fuel Line Connection

‹› 22 Nm

‹› Always replace

Fuel Line to the Fuel Rail

‹› 18 Nm

‹› Do not install fuel line under tension.

Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) Valve (N316)

Fuel Injector

‹› Replace the O-rings.

‹› Note the correct installed position.

‹› Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fuel Injectors ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Fuel Injectors.

Double Check-Valve

‹› Checking, refer to => [ Double Check-Valve, Checking ] See: Powertrain Management/Emission Control Systems/Evaporative Emissions

System/Evaporative Check Valve/Testing and Inspection.

‹› With the EVAP canister purge regulator valve 1, as one unit.
