Intermediate Plate

‹› Must be located on the alignment sleeves.

‹› Do not damage or bend when doing assembly work.

‹› Is hooked in at sealing flange, refer to => [ Installing the Intermediate Plate ].

Bolt

‹› 60 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.

‹› Always replace

‹› For the dual mass flywheel/drive plate.

Dual Mass Flywheel/Drive Plate

‹› Dual mass flywheel removing and installing. Refer to => [ Dual Mass Flywheel ] See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Flywheel/Service and

Repair/Dual Mass Flywheel.

‹› Drive plate removing and installing. Refer to => [ Drive Plate ] See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Flex Plate/Service and Repair.

‹› Drive plate installed position: the collar faces the engine.

‹› Only possible to install in one position - Bores are offset.

‹› Not installed

Sealing Flange Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification

-

Tighten the bolts in sequence - 1 through 8 - as shown:

-

1. Install the bolts and tighten by hand.

-

2. Tighten the bolts to 9 Nm.
