Variable Induction Control Module: Removal and Replacement

Throttle Valve Control Module (J338)

Removing

Vehicles with a Noise Generator:

-

Remove the charge air pipe from the noise generator. Refer to => [ Charge Air Pipe from Noise Generator ] See: Turbocharger/Service and
Repair/Charge Air Pipe From Noise Generator.

Continuation for All:

-

Loosen the hose clamp - 2 -.

-

Remove the bolt - 4 -.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector - arrow -.

-

Remove the noise insulation.

-

Remove the charge air pipe clamps - 1 and 2 - and pipe.

-

Remove the bolt - 1 - and remove the charge air pipe downward.
