Fuel Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

Fuel Pressure Sensor (G247)

  Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Assembly Tool (T10118)

‹› Double Hexagon Socket 1/2 inch 27 mm (VAS 5301/7)

Removing

The fuel system is under pressure! Before opening the high pressure components of the fuel injection system, the pressure must be
reduced to a residual pressure.

Vehicles with a Noise Generator:

Remove the charge air pipe from the noise generator. Refer to => [ Charge Air Pipe from Noise Generator ] See: Fuel Delivery and Air
Induction/Turbocharger/Service and Repair/Charge Air Pipe From Noise Generator.

Continuation for All:

Remove the upper bracket on the generator (C)- arrow -.

Loosen the coolant pipe - arrows - from the intake manifold.
