Interior Monitoring Transceiver Module 1
General Description:
The Interior Monitoring Transceiver Module 1 (G303 ) (master) communicates via LIN-Bus with Comfort System Central Control Module (J393) and
a separate interface with Interior Monitoring Transceiver Module 2 (G305) (slave). It uses microwave technology and monitors the passenger
compartment even with the convertible top opened.
‹› Only the Interior Monitoring Transceiver Module 1 (master) is displayed or checked with Vehicle Self-Diagnosis and with DTCs in DTC memory.
If a message is set in DTC memory, the Interior Monitoring Transceiver Module 1 as well as Interior Monitoring Transceiver Module 2 (slave) or
their electrical connection may be faulty.
Removing:
‹› To remove the interior monitoring transceiver module 1, the anti-theft warning system must be deactivated. Refer to => [ Anti-Theft Alarm

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

Remove center console.

Disconnect harness connector - arrow A -.

Pull shaped part - 2 - upward - arrow B - from stud bolt - 1 -.

Carefully pull Interior Monitoring Transceiver Module 1 - 3 - out of shaped part.
Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal.
