Fuel Pressure Sensor (G247), Checking

  Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Assembly Tool (T10118)

‹› Torque Wrench (5-50 Nm) (V.A.G 1331)

‹› Vehicle Diagnostic Tester

‹› Pressure Sensor Tester (VAS 6394/1)

‹› Adapter (VAS 6394/2)

‹› Test Instrument Adapter/DSO (3-pin) (VAS 5570)

‹› Double Hexagon Socket, 1/2 inch, 27 mm (VAS 5301/7)

Remove the engine cover. Refer to => [ Engine Cover ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Cylinder Head Assembly/Service and
Repair/Engine Cover.

Remove the fuel pressure sensor. Refer to =>  See: Service and Repair.

Lubricate the adapter (VAS 6294/2) sealing point with clean engine oil and install it in the fuel rail. Tightening specification: 27 Nm.

Remove the locking bolt - 2 - and install the fuel pressure sensor in the (VAS 6394/1). Tightening specification: 27 Nm.
