Remove the vehicle electrical system control module - 2 - relay carrier in - direction of arrow B - from the bracket.

Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

‹› The securing latch can only be brought into the CLOSED position when all connectors are correctly connected.

‹› If a new vehicle electrical system control module is installed, it must be coded. Refer to => [ Vehicle Electrical System Control Module, Coding,

Through 05.09 ] See: Testing and Inspection/Vehicle Electrical System Control Module, Coding, Through 05.09.

Relay Carrier On Vehicle Electrical System Control Module, From 06.09

‹› The relay carrier is installed depending on the vehicle equipment level. 

Removing:

-

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

-

Remove the trim in the driver footwell.

-

Open both tabs - arrows - and pull the relay carrier -  2 - from the vehicle electrical system control module - 1 - opposite the drive direction.

-

Swing the relay carrier downward and unclip the relay. Pay attention the wire still connected.

Installing:

Install in reverse order.
