At the same time, move the mounting bracket so far downward - arrow 2 - until the over center spring can be pressed onto the pivot - A - of the
clutch pedal.
CAUTION!
If installed incorrectly, the over center spring will jump uncontrolled out of the mounting bracket.
Place a cloth over the over center spring.
Check the function of the over center spring.
In addition, move the mounting bracket up and down several times.

Install the mounting bracket. Refer to one of the following:
