Double eye

Simple tensioning band diverting eye.

When replacing the tensioning bands, secure the end eyes to the bands with sealing pliers VAS 6372.

Routing Tension Band 1

NOTE:

-

When luggage compartment trim is installed, ensure support is not positioned in longitudinal opening.

-

To support roof, both sides of luggage compartment trim should be either removed or installed.

-

Tensioned headliner is installed.

-

Open the roof with the convertible top switch until it is just before the position shown.

-

Place Hinge Supports VAS 6365 in lowest position - 2 -.

-

Place Hinge Supports VAS 6365 in mounting hole in main hinge - 1 - and rotate base - 4 - so that it is not positioned in opening in longitudinal.

Switch off ignition. The roof lowers in stages until supports rest on longitudinal.

NOTE:
-

All screws are microencapsulated and must always be replaced.

-

Tightening specifications for bolts: 3.5 Nm.
