Remove the bolt - 1 - for the rear intake manifold support (exhaust side).

Disconnect the connecting hose for the crankcase ventilation from the cylinder head cover.

Bring the lock carrier into the service position. See: Body and Frame/Lock Carrier

-

Disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake manifold flap vacuum actuator.

Remove the oil dipstick guide tube bolt - 1 -.

-

Remove the bolt - 2 - and remove the vacuum reservoir from the intake manifold.

Remove the oil dipstick guide tube bolt - 3 -.

-

Remove the bolt - 4 - and remove the vacuum reservoir - 1 - from the intake manifold.

Continuation for All Engines

Remove the intake manifold bolts.

-

Remove the intake manifold and place it on a suitable surface so that the vacuum actuator is not damaged.

‹› Seal the intake passages in the intake manifold and in the cylinder head with clean cloths.

Installing
