VAG 1551/1 Diagnosis cable 

VW ATF is obtainable as a spare part. 
Container size 1.0 ltr. -Part No. G 052 162 A2

If the ATF level is checked the seal -arrow- on the ATF level plug must always be replaced. 

 
 
ATF level, checking 

Conditions for performing check 
-

Fuse OK. 

-

The battery voltage must be at least 11.5 V. 

-

Ground connections on engine, transmission and body OK. 

-

All electrical consumers must be switched off 

-

Transmission not emergency running, ATF temperature not above approx. 30°C
