Cold start accelerator cable must not be pulled out

All electrical consumers switched OFF

Engine oil temperature 60 °C (140 °F) minimum

Measure engine speed using VAG 1367 ignition tester using TDC sensor or VW 1324 adaptor

specification: 4800 ± 100 rpm

NOTE: The residual volume adjusting screw -2- is secured with an anti-tamper cap and must normally not be adjusted.
The residual volume is set using this screw by the manufacturer on a test bench.
