Ribbed Belt, Checking And Adjusting

Checking

Before removing drive belt, mark running direction for installation reference. Reversing belt running direction can lead to belt damage

Inspect drive belt for any damage. Always replace a damaged drive belt to avoid breakage or malfunction

Adjusting

Periodic adjustment of the ribbed drive belt is not required. Proper tension is maintained by the ribbed belt tensioner.
