Enter display group number XXX

Press 0, 7 and 1 for the function "display group number 71", and then press Q to exit from input mode.

Indicated on display: (1 to 4 = display fields)

Test of EVAP system will be initiated. Indication in display field 4 shows which function of the diagnostic is currently active.

Disconnect 2-pin connector -1 - from Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister purge solenoid valve -N115-.

-

Connect VAG1527B voltage tester between terminal 1 (B+) and terminal 2 (GND) of connector. LED must light up.

If LED lights up:

Check Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister purge solenoid valve -N115- electrically.

If LED does not light up:

-

Press -> button.

Indicated on display:

Select function XX

Press buttons -0- and -6- to select "End data transfer" function 06. Press -Q- button to confirm input.

Switch ignition off.

Locate and repair open circuit using wiring diagram:
