Install hold-down clamp and tighten M8 x 30 bolt -arrow- to 25 Nm (18 ft. lb.).

Clip in fuse holder.

After installing, ensure battery is seated securely.

CAUTION!
If battery is not secured properly, the following will result:

-

Shortened battery service life due to vibration damage.

-

Battery cell and plate damage.

-

Electrolyte leakage due to battery case damage.

-

Poor collision safety.

-

Install battery cover.

Second battery under driver's seat, removing

-

Operate lever -1- and slide driver's seat forwards onto stop.

-

Lift lever -2- up and slide seat completely forwards passed stop.

-

Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers

-

Disconnect battery in the following sequence:
