VW 391 Drive axle fitting appliance

Removal and Installation
^
Remove noise insulation tray.
^
Turn steering to right onto full lock stop.
^
Disconnect drive axle from flanged shaft.
Vehicles with 6-Cyl. injection engines
^
Remove transmission carrier -A- for bearing of right-hand flanged shaft -B- (arrows).
^
Pull out flanged shaft.
Vehicles with 5-Cyl. engines
