Connect radiator to workshop crane (VAG 1202A or equivalent).

Drive pins out of spreader clips -arrows- on both sides and remove spreader clips from radiator brackets.

Lift radiator with workshop crane.
-
Remove cross member -1- together with headlight brackets -2-.
-
Combi hex bolt -3- = 8.0 Nm (71 in. lb)
-
Combi hex bolt -4- = 8.0 Nm (71 in. lb)
-
Unclip electrical connectors from cross member/headlight brackets.
Reinstall in reverse sequence.
