NOTE:  When the printer is switched on the actual display is printed out.

If the displayed values in all display zones are OK:

Press button.

NOTE:  After completing the function "Read Measuring Value Block" interrogate DTC memory

Connecting VAG1551 Scan Tool

VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST), Connecting, Selecting Functions And Checking Control Module (radio) Version

Prerequisites:

-

All fuses OK according to wiring diagram.

-

Battery (B+) voltage at least 9 Volts.

NOTE:

-

VAG 7552 Scan Tool (ST) may be used instead of the VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST), however a print-out is not possible.

The following procedures and display references pertain only to VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST).

With ignition switched off, connect VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST) the Data Link Connector (DLC) as follows:
