Electronic Throttle Actuator: Service and Repair
Accelerator Pedal Module

Accelerator Pedal Module

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Release tool (T10238) 

Removing

-

Remove the nuts - arrows - and remove the footwell trim.

-

Pry out the cap using a screwdriver.

-

Remove the bolt.

-

Slide the (T10238) as shown into the openings designated for it until it stops and remove the accelerator pedal module. 

-

Disconnect the electrical connector from the accelerator pedal module. 

Installing

-

Connect the electrical connector - 2 - to the accelerator pedal module - 5 - and slide the rubber grommet - 1  - onto the connection.
