Adjusting throttle controls - automatic gearbox
(Vehicles with 2E2 carburettor) The throttle controls are to be set such that the throttle valve at the carburettor are in overrun position and the operating lever on the gearbox is at the stop (overrun position). Otherwise switching up a gear will take place too late in the medium speed range. As the throttle valves on the 2E2 carburettor (with automatic start function) are only in the overrun position with engine running and at operating temperature, adjustment is to be carried out as follows.
