| To avoid injuries to persons and/or destruction of the ignition system, always observe the following. |

| Do not touch or disconnect ignition cables when the engine is running or being turned at starter speed. |
| t
| Only disconnect and connect ignition system cables - including test instrument cables- with ignition switched off. |
| t
| If the engine is to be operated at starter speed without starting, e.g. when checking compression, detach connector from Hall sender -G40- (ignition distributor -O-). |
| t
| Do not connect a capacitor at terminal 1 (-). |
| t
| Do not exchange ignition distributor rotor 1 kΩ (identification: R1) for another one, even in case of radio noise suppression. |
| t
| In case of noise suppression, only resistors with 1 kΩ and spark plug connectors -P- with 5 kΩ must be used on high-voltage cables. |
