Tests with control unit connected
Tests with control unit connected
l  Tests can only be carried out with basic test box -V.A.G 1598/14- and adapter -V.A.G 1598/2-.
   
–  With ignition switched off, connect basic test box -V.A.G 1598/14- and adapter -V.A.G 1598/2--1- to connector of wiring harness -2- and to Ecotronic control unit -J184--3-.
  Note
Carry out test with particular care. Interchanging the sockets and an incorrect measuring range may lead to the destruction of the Ecotronic control unit -J184-.
