Rear axle
–  Switch ignition off and actuate brake pedal approx. 20 times so that accumulator pressure is dissipated.
–  Depress brake pedal and hold.
–  Switch ignition on and leave brake caliper bleed screw open with bleed bottle hose fitted until 500 cm3 brake fluid have flowed out. Brake fluid is flushed out via pressure of installed pump.
–  Press brake pressure regulator lever towards rear axle.
  Note
t  During bleeding process, fluid level in brake fluid reservoir must never fall below min. mark.
t  During this process, ABS system pump must not be operated continuously for more than 120 s. If this time has been exceeded, a subsequent cooling period of 10 min. is required.
–  As in case of first brake caliper, allow 500 cm3 brake fluid to flow out of second brake caliper.
–  Switch ignition on until pump in ABS system shuts off.
–  Top up brake fluid to max. mark, install reservoir cap and connect cable connector.
