| – | Separate microswitch/wiring harness connector. |
| – | Disconnect actuator rod from relay lever |
| – | Remove bolts → Item (qty. 3). |
| – | Pull lock cylinder housing with VW emblem out of rear lid. |

| Installation is carried out in the reverse order. |
