Installing > < Removing and installing plenum chamber cover

Removing
Removing
–  Unbolt wiper arms (M8 hexagon nuts = 20 Nm).
–  Pull off roof mouldings in area of A-pillars.
   
–  Pull off complete length of plenum chamber seal -1- and remove bolts -2-.
–  Pull cover -3- of pollen filter out upwards towards the front.
  Note
  N64-0061
The plenum chamber cover must not be levered off with a tool (screwdriver, wedge). The windscreen will be damaged and can later crack.

–  Lift up plenum chamber cover -1- at edge of windscreen.
  N64-0199
–  Now pull plenum chamber cover -1- out of mounting slot on lower edge of windscreen beginning from edge of windscreen -2- and at right angles.
