Installing
Before resetting piston, draw off brake fluid from brake fluid reservoir. Otherwise, particularly if reservoir has been topped up, fluid will overflow and cause damage.
   
–  Screw in piston by turning knurled wheel of resetting and removal tool -3272- clockwise, do not damage protective cap when doing this.
–  To aid screwing in, use special tool 3272/1.
t  Apply resetting and removal tool -3272- so that the collar of the tool is positioned against special tool 3272/1.
t  If piston is difficult to move, use a 13 mm open jaw spanner on flats -arrow A- provided for this purpose.

–  Insert brake pads and brake pad retaining springs -arrows- into brake carrier.
–  Pull protective foil off brake pad backplate.
–  Secure brake caliper housing with new self-locking bolts.
t  The repair kit includes four self-locking hexagon bolts which must be installed in all cases.

–  Press brake lever -2- in direction of arrow and attach handbrake cable -3-.
–  Install clip -1-.
–  Adjust handbrake → Chapter.
–  Install wheels.
t  After changing brake pads, firmly depress brake pedal several times with vehicle stationary, so that the brake pads are properly seated in their normal operating position.
t  After changing brake pads check brake fluid level.
