Adjusting handbrake
A new adjustment is only necessary after renewing, handbrake cables, brake calipers and brake discs.
–  Remove centre console extension → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.68.
–  Depress foot brake hard at least three times.
–  Pull handbrake on three times and then release again.

–  Handbrake lever in released position. Tighten adjusting nut until lever -arrow- lifts off the brake caliper stop.
–  Taken together, the distance to the stops -arrow- on left-hand and right-hand brake calipers must not be less than 1 mm or more than 3 mm.
–  Check that both wheels turn freely.
Due to the automatic rear wheel brake adjustment there is no requirement to adjust the handbrake after making new/initial adjustment.
