Dismantling and assembling engine

Note

t	Finding metal shavings or a large quantity of small metal particles during engine repair could indicate that the crankshaft bearings or conrod bearings are damaged. To prevent subsequent damage, perform the following after repairs:

t	Thoroughly clean oil channels.

t	Renew oil spray jets.

t	Renew oil cooler.

t	Renew oil filter.
