Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system -VAS 5051B-

t	Diagnosis lead -VAS 5051/1- or -VAS 5051/3-

Procedure

Select “Guided fault finding” on vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system -VAS 5051B-.

After all control units have been read:

–	Press key “GoTo”.

–	Select “Function/component selection”.

–	“Select drivetrain.”

–	Select “Engine code”.

–	Select “01-Systems capable of self-diagnosis”.

–	Select “Engine management”.

–	Select “Functions”.

–	Select “Function or component”.
