  Note
t  The cable sheaths are colour coded.
t  Check cables before installing; replace stiff or damaged cables.
t  First connect cables to removed controls, then adjust cables at air conditioner levers and secure them.
t  When rotary knobs are turned, all flaps must audibly contact stop.
1 - Central flap cable
q   From air distribution rotary knob to central flap.
q   Marking for cable sheath fastening:
Left-hand drive: yellow.
Right-hand drive: grey.
q   Adjusting cable at central flap → Chapter.
2 - Footwell/defroster flap cable
q   From air distribution rotary knob to footwell/defroster flap.
q   Marking for cable sheath fastening:
Left-hand drive: green.
Right-hand drive: black.
Renewing:
–  Remove heating and air conditioning controls → Chapter.
–  Remove trim under steering column → Rep. Gr.68.
–  Unclip cable on heater and air conditioner unit.
–  Adjust cable at footwell/defroster flap → Chapter.
3 - Heating and air conditioning controls
q   Removing → Chapter.
4 - Temperature flap cable
q   From temperature rotary knob to temperature flap.
q   Marking for cable sheath fastening:
Left-hand drive: beige.
Right-hand drive: white.
q   Adjusting cable at temperature flap → Chapter.
