t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331/- (5...50 Nm)
  Note
t  Air conditioner compressor bracket and related parts can be removed and installed without opening refrigerant circuit.
t  Removing poly V-belt → Rep. Gr.13.

1 - Cylinder block
2 - Bracket for alternator, air conditioner compressor and power steering vane pump
q   Part number for bracket 032 145 163 Q.
Removing:
q   First remove alternator, air conditioner compressor and power steering vane pump → Rep. Gr.27 and → Rep. Gr.48.
q   Remove hexagon nut → Item.
q   Remove bracket for power steering pressure line → Item.
q   Remove securing bolts → Item and → Item.
q   Remove air conditioner compressor from bracket and secure to body with suitable material (e.g. uncoated wire) → Chapter.
q   Unbolt air conditioner compressor bracket from cylinder block.
q   Bolt compressor bracket to cylinder block, referring to sequence A,B,C in figure.

q   M10×85
q   50 Nm.

q   M10×55

5 - Air conditioner compressor
q   With air conditioning system magnetic coupling -N25-.

6 - Hexagon combi-bolt
q   M10×112
q   45 Nm.
7 - Hexagon nut
q   10 Nm.
8 - Retainer for power steering pressure line.
9 - Hexagon combi-bolt
