  Note
The clearance must be redetermined after the air conditioning system magnetic coupling has been installed → Chapter.
   
–  Remove hexagon combi-bolt.
To counterhold, use a commercially available 2-hole pin wrench -VAS 3212- with a pin diameter of 4 mm.
t  Torque setting 15 Nm

–  Pull out coupling disc with magnetic coupling puller -V.A.G 1719/-.
To counterhold, use a commercially available 2-hole pin wrench -VAS 3212- with a pin diameter of 4 mm.

–  Remove felt ring.
–  Fit assembly tool for magnetic coupling -1719/1-.
–  Position commercially available two-arm puller -B-on shoulder -A- and pull out poly V-belt pulley.

–  Drive poly V-belt pulley in with a plastic hammer and assembly tool for magnetic coupling -1719/2-.

–  Fit solenoid to air conditioner compressor.
–  Install locking pin into recess -A-.
