| For vehicles that are not equipped with a magnetic coupling on the air conditioner compressor, the swash plate in the air conditioner compressor is set to a delivery rate of almost zero; heating and ventilation continue to be controlled automatically. |

| Modifications made to automatic operation before the engine is switched off will be saved. Only the “Air recirculation” function is erased 20 minutes after the ignition has been switched off. |

| If all of the symbols displayed in the operating and display unit for Climatronic conditioning -E87- are flashing after the ignition has been switched on, there is a defect in the system. Perform “self-diagnosis” of the Climatronic using vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system -VAS 5051B- or vehicle diagnosis and service information system -VAS 5052-. |
