Gearbox repair
This repair enables the mechanic to repair a gearbox without having to sell the customer an exchange gearbox.
All the clutches and brakes as well as the complete valve body, which are required for the repair, are available as a replacement part. All the gaskets and seals required for the repair are available as a set → Electronic parts catalogue “ETKA”.
With the aid of Guided fault finding and the table → Chapter, the defective selector element can be “determined” during a test drive.

It is important always to renew the valve body, the ATF strainer and the ATF cooler together with a defective selector element.
This will prevent the “dirty ATF” in these parts from reentering the gearbox.
The pressure accumulator should also be cleaned → Chapter.
