Installing > < Removing and installing selector lever lock solenoid N110

Removing
–  First check whether a coded radio is fitted. If so, obtain anti-theft code.
–  Move selector lever to “P” position.
–  With ignition switched off, disconnect battery earth strap.
–  Raise vehicle.
–  Unbolt bracket for catalytic converter from subframe and pull back; loosen double clamp. → Repair group 26; Removing and installing parts of exhaust system.
Do not remove catalytic converter but leave it lying on subframe.
–  Unhook selector lever cable from retainer on front heat shield.
–  Remove front heat shield for tunnel.
–  Separate middle heat shield for tunnel and push back.
   
–  First unscrew the 4 nuts -arrows A-.
–  Then unscrew the 2 bolts -arrows B-.
–  Carefully push cover with protective sleeve forward over selector lever cable. Do not damage protective sleeve in the process.

–  Unclip selector lever lock solenoid -N110- from retainer -arrows A-.
–  Pull solenoid out of locking pawl -arrows B-.

–  Unplug connector -arrow- and remove selector lever lock solenoid -N110- downwards.
