Dismantling and assembling “K1” clutch housing
Dismantling and assembling “K1” clutch housing
The clutch will now be dismantled for cleaning. No repairs can be made.
Dismantling “K1” clutch housing
–  Remove retaining ring for plates.
–  Remove plates.
   
–  Slowly and carefully press down piston cap only far enough that the ring can be removed.
–  Remove retaining ring.
–  Remove piston cap and spring.
–  Drive piston out of clutch housing.
–  To do this, gently strike a plastic mallet against the upper edge of the clutch housing.
Assembling “K1” clutch housing
–  Carefully press piston by hand into clutch housing to stop.

–  Lay spring, piston cap and retaining ring in clutch housing.
–  Carefully centre piston cap before pressing it down.
–  Slowly and carefully press down piston cap only far enough that the ring can be installed.
–  Install retaining ring.
–  Install plates.
–  Install retaining ring for plates.
