Dismantling and assembling procedure → Chapter
  Caution
Do not run engine or tow vehicle with valve body cover removed or when there is no ATF in gearbox.
t  The valve body or the wiring harness for the solenoid valves can also be removed when the gearbox is installed.
t  Always renew a valve body which is fouled or defective.
   
1 - Plug, 15 Nm
q   Always renew oil seal
2 - Overflow pipe
3 - Drain plug, 45 Nm
q   Only renewing if oil is to be drained.
4 - Seal
q   Always renew
5 - Gearbox housing
6 - Hexagon nut, 20 Nm
7 - Lock washer
8 - Lever
q   For selector shaft
9 - Bolt, 6 Nm
10 - Multifunction switch -F125-
q   Removing, installing and adjusting → Chapter.
q   Can be checked using “guided fault finding” of -VAS 5051-.
11 - Retaining clip
q   For wiring harness on gearbox housing.
12 - Wiring harness
q   For solenoid valves, engine speed sender and ATF temperature sender.
13 - O-ring
q   Always renew
q   For connector/wiring harness.
14 - Seal
q   Always renew
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
15 - Seal
q   Always renew
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
16 - Valve body
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
17 - Cap
q   To secure plug
q   Always renew
18 - Plug
19 - O-ring
q   Always renew
20 - Breather cap
21 - Bolt, 8 Nm
22 - Valve body cover
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
23 - Bolt
q   Torque setting → Chapter
q   Complying with the dismantling and assembling procedure → Chapter.
24 - Wiring harness
q   For engine speed sender and ATF temperature sender.
25 - Spool valve
q   Secure against falling out before removing the valve body.
