Dismantling and assembling procedure → Chapter
1)  Adjustment work is required if these components are replaced → Chapter.
  Note
There are gearboxes with output shaft → Item, drive flange → Item and gearboxes with flange shaft → Item. These components must not be mixed up. If renewed, they must be reallocated to the relevant gearbox.
   
1 - Sealing cap
q   Will be destroyed during removal.
q   Always renew
2 - Retaining ring
q   Always renew
3 - Dished washer
q   Cone points towards circlip
4 - Countersunk bolt, 25 Nm
q   For output shaft → Item or for flange shaft → Item on differential of manual gearbox
5 - Flange shaft
6 - Needle bearing (polygon bearing)
q   Qty. 2
q   Only for flange shaft → Item
q   Renewing → Chapter
7 - Drive flange
q   Pull out together with output shaft → Item → Chapter
q   Pressing off → Anchor
q   Pressing on → Anchor
8 - Output shaft
q   Pull out of bevel gear housing with drive flange → Item → Chapter
9 - Needle bearing (polygon bearing)
q   Renewing → Chapter
q   Only for output shaft
10 - Retaining ring
q   Always renew
11 - Seal
q   Levering out with assembly lever
q   Drive in to stop with drift sleeve -3158- → Anchor
q   Renewing with gearbox installed → Chapter
12 - Bolt, 25 Nm
13 - Cover → Note
q   Removing → Anchor
q   Do not cant when installing. Tighten securing bolts diagonally and in stages
14 - O-ring
q   Always renew
q   Must lie in circumferential groove.
15 - Shim S1
q   Note thickness
q   Adjustment overview → Chapter
16 - Large tapered roller bearing for supporting bevel gear with stub shaft → Note
Inner race:
q   Pulling off → Anchor
q   Pressing on → Anchor
Outer race:
q   Pressing out → Anchor
q   Pressing in → Anchor
17 - Bevel gear with stub shaft → Note
q   Paired with shaft bevel gear → Item.
q   Cannot be pressed off input shaft.
q   Adjusting → Chapter
18 - Small tapered roller bearing for supporting bevel gear with stub shaft → Note
Inner race:
q   Pressing off → Anchor
q   Pressing on → Anchor
Outer race:
q   Pressing out → Anchor
q   Pressing in → Anchor
19 - Shim S2
q   Note thickness
q   Adjustment overview → Chapter
20 - Final drive housing → Note
q   Drain oil then and secure bevel box on assembly stand using gearbox support -3221- → Chapter.
21 - Seal
q   Always renew
q   Insert stepped side into final drive housing
22 - O-ring
q   Always renew
23 - Seal
q   Always renew
q   Insert stepped side into final drive housing
24 - Oil drain plug, 25 Nm
q   With magnet
25 - Roller sleeve
q   Pulling out → Anchor
q   Pressing in → Anchor
26 - Retaining ring
q   Always renew
q   Removing → Anchor
27 - Shaft bevel gear → Note
q   Is paired to bevel gear (with stub shaft)
q   Clean thread
q   Adjusting → Chapter
28 - Large tapered roller bearing for shaft bevel gear → Note
Inner race:
q   Pulling off → Anchor
q   Pressing on → Anchor
Outer race:
q   Pulling out → Anchor
q   Pressing in → Anchor
29 - Output flange → Note
30 - Hexagon nut, 350 Nm
q   Unscrewing → Anchor
q   Fitting → Anchor
q   Always renew
q   Coat with gear oil when installing
31 - Shim S4
q   Note thickness
q   Adjustment overview → Chapter
q   Fit onto spacer ring → Item before installing oil seal → Item and before inserting inner race for small tapered roller bearing → Item
32 - Spacer ring
q   Installation position: chamfer faces shaft bevel gear → Item
q   Fit onto shaft bevel gear → Item before installing oil seal → Item and before inserting shim S4 as well as inner race for small tapered roller bearing → Item
33 - Seal
q   Replace only with bevel box removed → Chapter
q   Pinion housing → Item does not have to be removed
34 - Small tapered roller bearing for shaft bevel gear → Note
Outer race:
q   Pressing out → Anchor
q   Pressing in → Anchor
Inner race:
q   Place in outer race.
35 - Bolt, 25 Nm
36 - Pinion housing → Note
q   Removing → Anchor
q   Installing → Anchor
q   Do not cant when installing. Tighten securing bolts diagonally and in stages.
37 - O-ring
q   Always renew
q   Must lie in circumferential groove.
38 - Shim S3
q   Note thickness
q   Adjustment overview → Chapter
