  Note
Lubricate all bearings and contact surfaces with grease -G 000 450 02-.

16 - Bolt, 25 Nm

18 - Guide bush
19 - Compression spring
q   Installing → Fig.

21 - Torx bolt, 5 Nm
22 - Base plate
q   Bend open tabs to remove
q   Renew
23 - Securing clip
24 - Gate selector cable
q   On gate selector lever
q   Installation position → Chapter
25 - Gear selector cable
q   Press onto gear lever guide
q   Installation position → Chapter
26 - Hexagon nut, 25 Nm
27 - Bearing bush
q   Fits in one position only

Removing and installing securing clip
–  To remove or install securing clip -arrow A-, press spacer bush -arrow B- to stop in direction of arrow -arrow C- using screwdriver and pull off securing clip.
  Note
t  Do not cant spacer bush when pushing down.
t  Slot in gear lever for securing clip must be visible.
t  Carefully release tension from spring.

Installing compression spring
–  Insert compression spring so that extension -A- lies on top of pin -arrow-.
–  Then pull extension -B- down so that it sits below pin -arrow-.
