Adjusting > < Checking and adjusting selector lever cable

Checking
–  Move selector lever to “P” position.
   
–  Pry cable -1- off lever and lay it down so that the end can move freely.
If the securing clip -3- is removed, only a new clip may be installed.
–  Move selector lever from “P” to “1” and back to “P”.
l  The cable and selector lever must move easily.

–  Loosen bolt -2- for front ball socket.
–  Move selector lever to “P” position.
–  Press on selector lever cable again.
–  Adjust selector lever cable → Chapter.
